I really did take time and dicussion to make an answer on this topic
and when I started to put it on the net, I recognixze my ideas in Wams message
which he did yjust before me. Okey, please dont remark, but i wrote it,
indeed in my bad english so now you have to read it.

ANTIWARMOVEMENT - GO ON!

In the discussion about if it is okay for a peacegroup to support
military sanctions, from mine point of view - NO!
The ground must be that we do not beleive in solutins by military
sancitons. That doesn't mean that we like people to be killed, starve,
and die in all the other ways, which is the case in Bosnia-Hercegovina
just now. So what shall we do instead? There are a lot of things which
is done and going on. We must show the way of making securiety on
other grounds than militarian. There are no examples there military
sanctions solved the conflict. Not even the "Gulfwar". Make a
difference between military interventions and peaceremaining forces,
which are requested from all sides in the conflict. Then I say that
military sanctions never can help I actually mean military
interventions. Securiety is something you must build, it will not just
be from itself.

Now you think - it is easy for Neven sitting in Sweden to talk about
that, he cant feel the horror, he never saw a bomb approaching a goal,
he never been sitting in a keller because of war, he never were
without food and medecin - thats true! But still I am very occupied
with all this happening, I have a hard time thinking on other things,
and my friends think I changed.

If a peacegroup support the military sanctions, then they are not a
peacegroup in that way which I would like to support. I agree that one
of the most important things must be to give humanitarian help, but
without a political goal, and political lobbing, the war will be much
harder to stop. We all know that even the International Red Cross were
thrown out of Sarajevo, this is unbeleiveble!

I do understand the horror of this war, I olso do understand the point
of view that Ibrahim and Nada in Sarajevo have, but I still think that
we never should support military interventions.

Instead ------
Citizens of Europe - there is a war going on among you, why are you so
passive. In the beginning of the 80's hundreds of thousands people
were making demonstrations, why cant we organize a huge occupation af
Sarajevo, but this time with normal citizens, who wants to show their
anger about all this. Yes, you say it is impossible, all this
extremist paramilitary groups are just shouting and they do not care.
Your point is good, I even could say it is maybe impossible - but at
the same time I think this action should not be 1000 people, it should
be 1 000 000 people, and that is impossible to shoot all af them.
Warning!I know that this is a crazy idea, but who is not getting mad
these days, and if you start thinking what this could be and what it
could change - is it so crazy anyway?

About Wams diary, I do not agree that it is too long and I really
think that the form as a diary is very good. The people here I
presented it for they thinks that it is a good way of describing the
situation in Zagreb, but olso from a true peaceworker in the middle of
the cruelest war since -- judge yourself.

with peace and hopes, and keep on struggeling
from Sweden
