Who is Wam ?
Wam is a 38 years old father of three children, two living with their mother in Denmark and one with her mother in Praha, who has been active in the international alternative, ecological, peace movement for the last 16 year on different level. The last 8 years basically active as coordinator from a huge whole European wide network of about 500 Youth and Environmental organisations (European Youth For(est) Aaction), which I establish with some friends from Sweden and Norway.
I am doctor in Sociology (Group dynamic and mass communication) and therefor extremely interesting in the new media like Email (I have been using it for the last 14 years).
I can tell you thousand and one more things about me, how I survived all those years, how I love my friends, how I am thinking about things, etc. It is all in the diary, when it comes up.
What have I done so far in this area ?
First of all understand that all what I have done is always in cooperation with other people, actually they did it more than me. But since I came here in March, last year, as volunteer for peace groups in Croatia, I have been helping first to build up the peace groups and the electronic network ZaMir (for peace), with node in Zagreb, Beograd and soon in Sarajevo.
Later after the war started in BiH I started with some friends the organisation Suncokret which works with volunteers from all over the work in refugee camps with children, women, schools, humanitarian aid etc. From 1 project in Juli last year it grow to nearly 40 camps now.
At of Suncokret Nexus was born, which is a coordination body for small graas root relief work in Croatia and BiH (not so small anymore, often up to 12 or more tons of food, clothes, medicines per week, often more)
In Hercegovina I helped to build up Terra for the same job and rebuilding of destroyed village in that area.
Out of the Peace center in Zagreb grow the center for Women Victims of War, which is organising specific help for women which are raped or otherwise hurt by the war.
The last 6 months I have been mostly busy as advisor for a lot of different NGO's and UN bodies, as well as busy with my own special project, the rebuilding of destroyed villages and town on the frontline between Croatia and the occupied area's, peace building and rebuilding the economy, together with international volunteers and the local people from both sides.
Why the diary ?
The diary started to inform my friends back home about what I was doing in this area and it is NOT a war report, but tells about my life behind and sometimes at or over the frontlines. I am NOT a journalist or what to be a writer, I am just doing what I think should be done and I am writing about it, that's all, nothing special.

Dispatching messages and other things ?
I myself have often a working day from over 20 hours, but as said I like to be of help, we can organise always something, but basically we can promise to print ou message and people can come and collect them from our office in Zagreb (if there is possible contact we rather would like you to inform the one to pick it up after we received it, I will send a message to say where).
Where do I live from ?
An important qeustion, also for me, which is always ask, is were do I get my money from and where do it get the money for all those project from, I don't know the answer until it is coming. So I live from the wind, or rather from the electronic lines, what people, friends give me to survive.
